For dentists/universities: Quantitative aMMP-8 laboratory test

Complementing the chair-side tests, the GCF/PISF (gingival crevicular fluid / peri-implant sulcus fluid) samples can be quantitatively analyzed for aMMP-8 in the lab. To do this, single, multiple, or pool samples (GCF or PISF) are collected from teeth and implants using GCF/PISF collection strips. Collecting the sample is painless and can be performed by a dental hygienist. The procedure takes about 30 seconds..

The samples are then sent directly to our lab in Jena. Once the analysis has been done, the dentist receives a report with a graphical representation and an interpretation of the results and the status of the tissue of the corresponding periodontium.
