For dentists/universities: Quantitative aMMP-8 laboratory testComplementing the chair-side tests, the GCF/PISF (gingival crevicular fluid / peri-implant sulcus fluid) samples can be quantitatively analyzed for aMMP-8 in the lab. To do this, single, multiple, or pool samples (GCF or PISF) are collected from teeth and implants using GCF/PISF collection strips. Collecting the sample is painless and can be performed by a dental hygienist. The procedure takes about 30 seconds.. The samples are then sent directly to our lab in Jena. Once the analysis has been done, the dentist receives a report with a graphical representation and an interpretation of the results and the status of the tissue of the corresponding periodontium. Sample collection devices can be requested directly from dentognostics. Special lab service is offered to universities and industry partners. Universities will receive discounts for research projects. We would be glad to help you plan your studies.
