For dentists: The PCR perio bacteria test PCR analysis of the most important periodontal pathogens

The PCR perio bacteria test identifies the presence of the most important periodontal pathogens in gingival pockets that can create an imbalance in the oral flora.

Using the paper tips from the collection set, plaque samples are taken from the gingival pockets and sent in. We use Hain-Lifescience's tried and true micro-IDent® for the analysis of the 5 most important periodontal pathogens.

You will receive a diagnosis regarding the extent of the impact from periodontal pathogens some days after sending in the sample. Specific recommendations will be made in light of the findings and, if necessary, suggestions for a complementary treatment with antibiotics.
